There will never be a perfect solution to the dilemma, because ultimately there are conflicts of interest that couldn't be solved in every debated issue. Fundamentally it's about the priority of value, and it differs with every person according to the context we're living.
I think simplification is bad because we forget to think about why we reach to the conclusion we're defending. People opting for pro-choice or pro-life actually have different stances. We all should be clearer about to what extent we're defending this value at the very end.
